Valley Metro – PGH Wong Northwest Phase II Light Rail Extension Science and Engineering Fair in the Washington School District

We are down to the last two weeks of building by our dynamic Engineers of the Future for their transportation projects in the Washington School District. Students are putting the finishing touches on their transit centers.  The kids from Washington Elementary, Acacia Elementary, Royal Palm Middle School, and Palo Verde Middle School are doing an amazing job. It is awesome to see the passion they have to work as a team to get the job done.

Plus, their mentors from Valley Metro, PGH Wong Inc., and Jacobs Engineering, have been there every step of the way, helping them learn the importance of STEM education. The kids took that knowledge and put it to good use to design and build their projects.

On Monday, December the 16, the students projects’ will be judged at the Valley Metro – PGH Wong Northwest Phase II Light Rail Extension Science and Engineering Fair in the Washington School District. All the fun will happen from 10am – 12pm at the Washington Elementary School District Administration Center. It is located at 4650 W. Sweetwater Ave, Glendale.

All families are welcome to check out the transit centers and hear from our distinguished guest speakers. Also, grab some pizza and snacks!

We are so excited to see which school will take home top prize for their transit Center.
