All of the teams did an amazing job. The kids from Washington Elementary earned a trophy and a new laptop computer. The team from Acacia Elementary won a trophy and Phoenix Suns tickets, while our third and fourth place teams, Palo Verde and Royal Palm Middle Schools, each received movie tickets.

Congratulations to all of our Engineers of the Future!

June Mini Camp – Introduction to Engineering

Students were introduced to engineering concepts through a robust STEM based hand-on curriculum. We built projects such as the marshmallow tower and balloon car. Students also participated in a college readiness course and were greeted by Engineers from Valley Metro, PGH Wong and students from ASU. We learned a lot, had some fun along the way and we even provided lunch! Could it get any more exciting?
